NewsJune 2010:JBoss announced the PortletBridge 3.0. The goal is to provide a way to use JSF 2.0 in combination with Portlet 2.0. May 2010: JSR-301 nearly finished. I think the JSR-301 will be final within the next couple of weeks. December 2008: JBoss announced its JBoss PortletBridge (JSR-301 implementation) Beta 5. November 2008: JSF 2.0 (JSR-314) is in Public Review. August 2008: You can have a look at the JSR-301 Public Review. Just visit jcp.org and download the latest spec version. March 2008: JBoss published the Portlet Container V2. Here you have the first version of the new portlet container, which is able to work with JSR-286 Portlets. Also the 301-bridge of JBoss was published. JBoss provides their own implementation of JSR-301. With their bridge you can use RichFaces and Seam within a portlet environment. 1.
